May 1, 2018

I am doing this episode and the past OSCE exam prep podcast because so many people have asked me to do it. Not just registrars but also supervisors who perhaps have not done the exam themselves and want to know how to help their Regs.

I was reluctant for a while because I didn’t want to give people wrong advice so for this reason I have sifted through the last 5 public exam reports from RACGP and the RACGP exam guide and pulled out all the tips and common errors that were pointed out.  Then I organized it into the areas below.

However this is still IN MY OWN WORDS and my own opinions so please read the public exam reports yourself.

Contents:

  1. Study tips and resources
  2. AKT – overview, tips and common errors
  3. General KFP insights
  4. KFP - Most common errors overall
  5. Assessing the stem
  6. Questions
  7. History
  8. Examination
  9. Investigations
  10. Differential diagnosis
  11. Management

Good luck everyone, but remember - your training is about learning to be a great GP, not just passing exams!
